Microsoft To Stop Production Of Xbox 360 Consoles

(Redmond, WA)  --  Microsoft's Xbox 360 game console will soon become a thing of the past.  Xbox chief Phil Spencer says the console has had an amazing run since its 2005 debut, but says the realities of a more-than-decade-old product are beginning to creep up.  Spencer says Microsoft will continue to sell existing hardware inventory, as well as games for the device.  The "Seattle Times" reports the company is shifting its focus to the Xbox One and will attempt to better link its group of console gamers with those who play on personal computers.
