Western State Hospital Escapee To Remain In Federal Custody

(Spokane, WA)  --  Murder suspect Anthony Garver, who was recently apprehended in Spokane after escaping from a psychiatric hospital in Western Washington, will be held in federal custody.  A U.S. District judge says there's concern over security at Western State Hospital, which warrants Garver being held in a federal lockup for evaluation.  Garver and fellow patient Mark Alexander Adams escaped from the hospital earlier this month, which prompted Governor Jay Inslee to fire the hospital CEO and hire an interim replacement.  There's no word yet on where Garver will be taken for evaluation.
