(Tacoma, WA) -- U.S. Attorney Annette Hayes says her office hasn't yet decided on whether to retry Washington State Auditor Troy Kelley for theft and tax evasion. Kelley was acquitted yesterday of one charge of lying to the Internal Revenue Service, and the federal jury deadlocked on the remaining 14 felony counts. Kelley's attorney, Angelo Calfo, says the case should never have been brought to trial and says he's confident the prosecution will dismiss the remaining charges.
