(Olympia, WA) -- A new report from the state Department of Labor and Industries says falls are the leading cause of work-related deaths in Washington. The department says 84 people across the state died in workplace deaths since November 2014. Officials say about half of work-related fatalities this year have involved workers 50 years of age or older. Labor department spokeswoman Elaine Fischer told the Everett "Herald" that more men than women are killed at work in Washington.
