Inmate Escapes After Switching Places With Man Set To Be Released

(Vancouver, WA)  --  A Clark County Jail inmate is on the loose after he switched places with another inmate who was scheduled to be released.  The sheriff's office says 30-year-old Michael Diontae Johnson is described as black, about five-feet-four, with black hair and brown eyes.  Officials say the error was noticed yesterday when a head count was being done during a meal.  The sheriff's office says Johnson was in custody on multiple charges, including harassment, assault, intimidating a witness, and bail jumping.
