(Olympia, WA) -- Washington State Superintendent of Public Instruction Randy Dorn says he won't run for governor. Dorn had previously indicated he'd run for the office as an independent and emphasize incumbent Governor Jay Inslee's failure to make sure public education is fully funded. But Dorn says he's decided that he doesn't want to deal with all the responsibility involved with being governor. He says he'll stick with his original plan of retiring at the end of his current term in office.
