Surge In Oregon Voter Registrations

(Salem, OR)  --  Elections officials say Oregon is seeing a surge in people registering to vote.  "The Oregonian" reports the number of people registered across the state totals nearly two-point-three million, which is an all-time record.  It's estimated that tens of thousands have been added to the voter rolls by Oregon's new automatic registration system.  Ballots for tomorrow's primary elections and the Oregon presidential primary must be submitted by eight o'clock tomorrow night.
