(Washington, DC)  --  Hip-hop artist Macklemore is helping President Barack Obama spread the message about the dangers of opioid abuse.  The rapper from Seattle joined the president Saturday morning during Obama's weekly address, saying he was once an addict and lost a friend who overdosed on pain relievers.  Obama discussed the efforts his administration has taken to curb opioid abuse, including working with law-enforcement and requiring that health-care coverage include treatment.
