Suspect In Murders Of Washington Couple Turns Self In

(Everett, WA)  --  One of two suspects in the presumed murders of an Arlington, Washington couple is in custody.  Snohomish County sheriff's deputies say 49-year-old Tony Clyde Reed turned himself in last night in San Diego County, California after making arrangements with the U.S. Marshals Service to surrender.  Authorities say Reed had been on the run with his 53-year-old brother, John Blaine Reed, since the presumed deaths of 45-year-old Patrick Shunn and his wife, 46-year-old Monique Patenaude.  The couple was reported missing on April 12th and their vehicles were later found abandoned near Oso, but no bodies have been located.  John Reed, who lived next door to the couple, is still at large.
