(Salem, OR) -- Health officials say a state senator could be fined for violating Oregon's Clean Air Act. Republican Senator Jeff Kruse of Roseburg received a warning earlier this month from the Oregon Health Authority after he was caught smoking in his office at the Capitol. Kruse told the "Statesman Journal" he closes the door and opens a window when smoking inside and didn't think it was bothering anyone. He may be required to pay a 500-dollar fine.
