Number Of Deadly Crashes In Washington Increasing

(Olympia, WA)  --  Washington is seeing an increase in the number of deadly crashes.  The Washington Traffic Safety Commission says there was a 23-percent increase between 2014 and 2015 in the number of fatal crashes in the state.  The commission says crashes involving distracted driving showed the largest increase in traffic deaths.  Governor Jay Inslee says he hopes the new figures will prompt legislation to make the state's roads safer.
