(Portland, OR) -- The average home price in the Portland area is now past the 400-thousand-dollar milestone. The Regional Multiple Listing Service says the average rose in May to 402-thousand-500 dollars, which is a record. Realty Trust Group broker Dustin Miller tells "The Oregonian" that low supply and high demand are driving the prices. The average time it takes to sell all current homes on the market remains at the April level of one-point-four months.
