Intruder Shot By Homeowner Identified As Ex-NFL PLayer

(Portland, OR)  --  Police say a man who's accused of breaking into a Southwest Portland home before being shot by the homeowner is identified as former NFL player Stanley Wilson the Second.  Authorities say the owner of the Southwest Humphrey Boulevard home shot Wilson in the abdomen, and officers arriving at the scene found the suspect, naked, in a backyard water feature.  Wilson is expected to survive.  He played cornerback at Stanford before being drafted in 2005 by the Detroit Lions, where he played for three seasons.
