Inslee Seeking Oil-train Moratorium

(Olympia, WA)  --  Governor Jay Inslee is calling for a moratorium on oil trains traveling through Washington.  Inslee is asking for the moratorium in response to the oil-train derailment earlier this month in the Columbia River Gorge.  The governor says it's up to the Federal Rail Authority to revisit what can be done to stop Union Pacific's Bakken oil transport until necessary safety improvements are made.  Earlier this month, Governor Kate Brown of Oregon asked for a similar moratorium for her state.
