(Salem, OR)  --  Authorities continue to investigate a crash that killed a pedestrian in Salem.  Sheriff's deputies say 51-year-old Baxter Harrell of Aumsville was walking along the center line of Cordon Road Northeast when he was hit by the vehicle early yesterday morning.  The driver cooperated with the investigation.  Family members said Harrell had left home earlier to go for a walk.
