(Olympia, WA) -- State Attorney General Bob Ferguson says he'll propose a bill next year that would ban all assault-style weapons with high-capacity magazines in Washington. Ferguson told reporters he was spurred on by the recent killings of three teenagers and the wounding of a fourth in Mukilteo. He says these types of weapons are designed for killing people and have no place in civilian use. State Senate Majority Leader Mark Schoesler tells the "Seattle Times" that Ferguson is using state resources to promote himself in an election year.
