(Olympia, WA) -- Governor Jay Inslee's office is reiterating his stance on a state income tax for Washington. The campaign for Republican candidate for governor Bill Bryant has been claiming that Inslee plans to introduce a state income-tax proposal. But Inslee spokesman Jamal Raad tells the "Seattle Times" the governor has been "clear as day" and doesn't support a state income tax. Raad is not saying, however, whether Inslee would veto a state income tax if it were passed by the Legislature.
