(Spokane, WA)  --  A petition filed to recall Spokane Mayor David Condon is no more.  David Green, who had filed the petition, claimed Condon withheld the release of public records until after his re-election.  Yakima County Superior Court Judge Blaine Gibson dismissed the petition, saying not enough information was filed with the petition on how the conclusion was reached that the mayor had withheld the records.  The judge made similar assertions about other charges contained in the petition, including claims that Condon violated city ethics laws and lied during a news conference when asked about sexual harassment complaints against ex-Police Chief Frank Straub.
