Seattle Has Among Highest Rates Of Same-sex Marriages

(Undated)  --  A new federal study shows Seattle is one of the leading cities for same-sex marriages in the nation.  The Office of Tax Analysis says the Seattle area ranks fifth in the U.S. for male couples getting married, and second for women marrying women.  The study shows there were more than 183-thousand same-sex marriages nationwide in 2014, or point-35 percent of all marriages in the United States.  San Francisco is the top city for same-sex marriages, followed by Washington DC, New York City, Palm Springs, and Seattle.
