Spokane Sheriff Rips GOP Lawmaker Over Triple-murder Claims

(Spokane, WA)  --  Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich is threatening to withdraw his endorsement for Republican candidates for office unless they publicly disavow a GOP lawmaker.  The "Spokesman-Review" reports Knezovich is upset with Spokane Valley Representative Matt Shea, saying he has attempted to connect the sheriff's office with a triple homicide.  In a podcast he released last week, Shea claimed that the gun used to kill the suspect's estranged wife's mother, stepfather, and brother can be traced back to Spokane County Deputy Travis Pendell.  Knezovich says Shea's claim is untrue and that the murder weapon hasn't even been located.
