Testimony Begins In Trial Of Accused SPU Campus Shooter

(Seattle, WA)  --  Testimony is underway in the trial of Aaron Ybarra, who's accused of killing one person and injuring two others in a shooting at Seattle Pacific University.  Ybarra has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity in the June 2014 shooting that killed student Paul Lee and wounded two other people.  Authorities say the shooting stopped after student Jon Meis pepper-sprayed and tackled Ybarra as he stopped to reload.  Ybarra's defense attorney says her client was brain-damaged and mentally ill at the time of the shooting.
