(Seattle, WA) -- Amazon.com says it will hire about 120-thousand people for seasonal positions nationwide in the coming weeks. The online retail giant says it will fill positions at fulfillment centers and customer-service sites. Amazon officials say more than 14-thousand seasonal employees were promoted to full-time jobs after last year's holiday season. Mike Roth, who's Amazon's Vice President of Global Customer Fulfillment, says they expect to increase that number this year.
