(Portland, OR)  --  Police say a man who's accused of robbing a Southwest Portland hotel is in a hospital after he was shot by officers during a chase.  Authorities say the man fired at pursuing officers yesterday as he was driving a van with a woman and three children in the vehicle.  Officials say after hitting several vehicles during the pursuit, the man stopped the van on Southwest Boones Ferry Road and Jean Way in Lake Oswego and fled on foot before being shot by police.  KOIN-TV reports the woman in the van was taken into custody for questioning following the pursuit.  There's no word whether the children are hers or how they're connected to the man.
