(Washington, DC) -- New figures from the U.S. Census Bureau show Washington and Oregon have among the fastest rates of growth in the nation. The Bureau says Washington's 2016 population is close to seven-point-three-million, up one-point-78 percent in 2016 from the 2010 figure, good for fifth place in the national rate of growth. Oregon's population this year is nearly four-point-one-million, higher by one-point-seven-one percent over 2010. That's good for sixth in the nation.
