(Mount Hood, OR)  --  Thousands of people hitting the trails around Oregon this summer are leaving behind some unpleasant souvenirs.  One hiker says he found about 30 bags of dog waste near the Mirror Lake trailhead west of Government Camp yesterday.  Doug Busak and a friend were taking part in a social media challenge get take trash off trails when they found the dog waste along with coffee cups, plastic bags and wrappers for snacks.  The Forest Service is reminding hikers and dog owners waste can be buried six-to-eight inches in the ground away from water sources.
