PenAir Files For Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

(Anchorage, AK)  --  One of Alaska's largest regional air carriers with flights to Portland has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.  PenAir says it will be closing its hubs in Denver and Portland over the next 90 days.  The airline will cease offering several flights to those cities at the end of business today.  Officials are now working on a plan to restructure the company in order to come out of bankruptcy.
