(Portland, OR)  --  An investigation is ongoing into a bomb scare in downtown Portland.  Police say someone called 9-1-1 early this morning to report a suspicious device at Southwest 10th Avenue and Southwest Jefferson Street.  The Metropolitan Explosive Disposal Unit inspected the device and determined that it was not dangerous.  The incident briefly shut down traffic on Southwest 10th Avenue.
