Ryan Nixes Idea Of Government Shutdown To Build Border Wall

(Hillsboro, OR)  --  U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan says shutting down the federal government to pay for a border wall is not necessary.  Speaking in Hillsboro yesterday, Ryan reacted to President Trump's threat in Phoenix that he would shut the government down if Congress fails to include funding for his promised border wall.  Ryan says he's asking the President to give Congress more time to fund the wall through what he calls regular order.  The Wisconsin Republican says there are "very legitimate problems and concerns on the border that need to be addressed."
