(Hillsboro, OR)  --  Nike is laying off hundreds of workers in Oregon.  The company says it will be letting go of 745 employees in the state.  The staffing reductions will hit Nike's Hillsboro headquarters particularly hard, with more than half of the planned pink slips going out there.  Company execs are saying the downsizing is coming as part of a more streamlined approach to their business model.
