(Troutdale, OR) -- Firefighters are slowly making progress against the Eagle Creek Fire in the Columbia River Gorge. Fire officials say the blaze is now eleven-percent contained. That's up from seven-percent earlier this week. Forecasters say a cool and possibly wet weather front could provide more favorable conditions for battling the blaze for the rest of this week. The wildfire has now burned more than 35-thousand-500 acres.
