(Portland, OR) -- Portland General Electric says an equipment issue knocked out power for at least four-thousand east Portland homes and businesses Saturday. PGE officials tell KATU that they had to replace a conduit wire, but they didn't give any further details on what caused the outage. The outage was first reported around 1:30 p.m. from 24th through 28th Avenue to Lloyd Boulevard. PGE officials say power was restored to all customers by 10 p.m.
