(New York, NY)  --  A Pacific Northwest man is the winner of the nation's largest pumpkin competition.  Washington resident Joel Holland of Sumner has won the 44th World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off in San Francisco.  Weighing in at over two-thousand pounds, the gigantic pumpkin will be displayed at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx.  Holland says warm daytime temperatures combined with lots of sunshine led to his pumpkin's epic growth.
