(Seattle, WA)  --  Amazon is gearing up to hire thousands of workers for the holiday season.  The online retail giant says it plans to hire more than 120-thousand people in more than 30 states, including Oregon.  The positions will be in fulfillment centers, sorting facilities and customer service sites.  Most of the jobs will be temporary, but Amazon says some seasonal workers could be offered permanent positions after the holidays.
