(Vancouver, WA) -- A domestic-violence suspect is behind bars following an hours-long SWAT standoff in Vancouver. Clark County Sheriff's officials say deputies responded to the 13-thousand block of Northeast 82nd Street on Sunday with an arrest warrant for 38-year-old Walter King. Police say King refused to come out of the home but was eventually arrested after a SWAT team was called in. King is accused of punching his girlfriend in the face and hitting her with a dowel rod in July.
