(Portland, OR)  --  The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office is warning residents about ongoing phone scams.  Sheriff's officials say they're still receiving calls from people being targeted by the scams.  The Sheriff's Office has previously issued a warning about the scams, in which the suspect tells the victim they have an outstanding warrant and need to pay a fine to resolve the issue.  Police are reminding residents that they never request payment of fines over the phone.
