Oregon Residents Allowed To Pump Own Gas In Some Communities

(Portland, OR)  --  Residents in some of the state's rural communities are being allowed to pump their own gas for the first time in 65 years.  A new law says people can fill their own tank in counties with fewer than 40-thousand residents.  Some Oregon residents posted on a TV station's Facebook page that they don't like the idea of pumping their own gas.  They said they don't want to smell like gas, they fear transients, or feel that it's best left to qualified people.
