Bicyclist Sues Portland For Crash During Naked Bike Ride

(Portland, OR)  --  A bicyclist is suing the city of Portland for a crash that happened more than a year ago after the World Naked Bike Ride in Portland.  Charles Ziemer filed the 566-thousand-dollar lawsuit last week.  Ziemer says he was riding home from the 2016 bike ride when he crashed into a pair of concrete islands on Southeast Morrison Street, breaking his nose, arm, two fingers and some teeth.  Ziemer says the city should have installed lights or reflectors on the island to warn cyclists.
