(Seattle, WA) -- Police say five people were arrested Saturday after confrontations at a GOP and Patriot Prayer rally at the University of Washington. The university College Republicans group invited the Vancouver-based organization Patriot Prayer for the on-campus rally. Counter-protesters showed up in greater numbers and things turned ugly despite police efforts to keep the groups separated. A federal judge had blocked the school from charging the College Republicans a 17-thousand dollar security fee, ruling it amounted to a violation of free speech.
