Portland Man's Deadly Shooting Of Transient Deemed Justified

(Portland, OR)  --  A Portland man accused of shooting a homeless man to death near Hawthorne Bridge is escaping charges.  Portland police announced yesterday that a grand jury has determined Joseph Vinci won't face criminal charges for the killing.  Authorities say there was likely a confrontation between the two men, but details have been hard to come by since the incident earlier this month.  The shooting was deemed justified by the grand jury.
