Meat Recalled Over Possible E. Coli Contamination

(Clackamas, OR)  --  A recall is in effect for ground beef and pork products sold in Oregon state.  Clackamas-based meat trader Interstate Meat Distributors is recalling over 14-thousand pounds of product after a sample of its beef trim tested positive for E. coli.  The U.S. Department of Agriculture says the meat went to stores in Oregon, Utah and Washington, and has the number "965" inside its USDA mark of inspection.  As of Saturday night, there were no confirmed reports of any illnesses.
