(Kansas City, MO)  --  United Airlines is looking into a mix-up that accidentally sent an Oregon woman's dog to Japan.  Kara Swindle said her ten-year-old German Shepherd was supposed to be shipped on Tuesday from Oregon to Kansas City, Missouri, where she and her children were moving to.  When they arrived, she was given the wrong dog.  Swindle said she wanted her dog to fly with her during the move, but the airline said he was unable to travel on her flight and had to be sent on another.  She said he was not given food or water on the 16-hour flight.  United issued an apology, saying both dogs are safe and that it will get them to where they are supposed to be as soon as possible.
