OR Food Bank Recalls Pumpkin Seeds Over Listeria Concerns

(Portland, OR)  --  A recall is in effect for more than 60-thousand pounds of pumpkin seeds donated to the Oregon Food Bank.  The food bank says the seeds distributed between November 1st and March 16th could be contaminated with Listeria.  Food bank officials say the seeds were given to them in the same donation that included chia seeds that were recalled last week due to rodent droppings.  The seeds were distributed either in Kale Joy plastic bags or in one-pound plastic bags with twist-type closures.
