Senator Wyden Co-Sponsoring McConnell's Hemp Bill

(Undated)  --  Senator Ron Wyden is co-sponsoring legislation in Congress that could remove hemp from the controlled substances list.  Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's bill "The Hemp Farming Act of 2018" would permanently remove hemp from regulation as a controlled substance and treat it as an agricultural commodity.  Similar legislation was introduced in the House last year.  The bill is also co-sponsored by Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky.
