(Portland, OR)  --  A portion of Southwest Stark Street could soon be renamed after gay activist Harvey Milk.  A panel of historians appointed by City Commissioner Dan Saltzman held a meeting yesterday to discuss renaming 13 blocks of the street after Milk.  Milk was the nation's first openly gay elected official after joining the San Francisco City Council in 1978.
