Police Not Identifying Officers In Deadly Shooting Of Man

(Portland, OR)  --  The Portland Police Bureau is holding off on identifying the officers who shot and killed a man inside a homeless shelter in Southeast Portland.  The Bureau cites department policy, saying the officers have been receiving threats from the public.  Police say officers shot and killed John Elifritz, AKA "John-John," Saturday night inside Cityteam Ministries Portland Shelter on Grand Avenue.  Police say the officers believed Elifritz to be a suspect in a carjacking earlier in the day and that he refused orders to drop his knife.
