(Portland, OR)  --  A former Oregon City teaching assistant is facing nearly three decades behind bars for producing child pornography.  A judge sentenced 41-year-old James Ian McGlothlin yesterday to 28 years at federal prison as well as a lifetime of supervised release.  Court documents say McGlothlin was arrested in February of 2016 after a search of his home turned up thousands of files containing child pornography.  McGlothlin worked as an adaptive PE instructional assistant for the Oregon School District since 2005.
