Coos Bay Man Rescued From Ocean After Boat Overturns

(Brookings, OR)  --  A Coos Bay man is safe after being rescued from the Pacific Ocean when his boat capsized near Brookings. The Army Corps of Engineers employee and another man were on the survey vessel when it overturned late yesterday morning near the entrance to the Chetco River. One man was able to swim to shore, but the other was trapped in the cabin for almost an hour. Both men were reunited. Their names haven't been released.
