(Portland, OR)  --  TriMet's elevator renovation project is getting underway today.  TriMet is shutting down its only elevator at the Northeast 60th Avenue MAX station starting today.  The elevator is the first of several set to be upgraded.  The 22-million-dollar project will lead to 19 new and upgraded elevators at TriMet transit stations.
