(Portland, OR) -- A Purple Heart stolen from a Korean War veteran is making its way back to Utah, thanks to the efforts of a Portland man. The medal was stolen from the widow of Derral Tarrance during a break-in in Salt Lake City a few months ago. But Portland resident Jeffrey Drury found it in an old trailer earlier this month and used social media to find and contact the Tarrance family. The medal was picked up in Oregon over the Memorial Day weekend and will soon be back on display in the family's home.
