Heat Advisory Issued Through Thursday

(Portland, OR)  --  A heat advisory is in effect through Thursday night for northwest Oregon and southwest Washington.  The National Weather Service says temperatures are expected to climb into the 90s and 100-degree range in the Willamette Valley, the Columbia River Gorge and the I-5 corridor north of Portland.  The National Weather Service is reminding residents to drink plenty of water and not to leave children or animals inside stopped cars.
